Korean GNP Stages Park Geun-hye Assassination Attempt In Order to Swing Elections

Korean GNP Chairwoman Park Geun-Hye has been the focus of media attention in Korea the past week since her "assassin" failed to complete his task. In the wake of the May 31 local and provincial elections, the GNP has emerged as the clear victor. This seems to be partially caused by an emotional reaction to the assassination attempt. Although, Park was never in any danger of being mortally wounded, the event sparked a sympathetic wave of voters to back the GNP. This move to incite empathy for Park and the GNP was clearly orchestrated by the GNP itself, days before the elections, in order to assure its landslide victory on the last day of May 2006.
All one has to do is think about who stands to benefit from a failed assassination attempt days before an election. Surely the would be assassin had expected this outpouring of sympathy would occur. More facts to come.
